The Pointe de Trévignon

Between beaches, dunes, paths and ponds...
Brittany Places to visit The Pointe de Trévignon

Between beaches, dunes, paths and ponds, La Pointe de Trévignon is a magnificent natural site, owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral.

Located in the commune of Trégunc in the South Finistère, the Pointe de Trévignon is situated at the end of a 6-kilometre-long dune belt, with the Pointe de la Jument at the other end.

What to do at La Pointe de Trévignon?

If you like nature, you will not be disappointed by the beauty of the landscape. The walks and hikes offered by the site will allow you to admire the biodiversity, the wild landscapes but also numerous bird sanctuaries. Among them, the Loc'h Coziou, a bird sanctuary where more than 150 species live.

You can also enjoy sports and water activities such as windsurfing, catamaran, sea kayaking, surfing and rowing!

Go to the small fishing port of Trévignon to admire the magnificent view. In the summer, around 5pm, when the boats return, a direct sale of fish takes place. You can also see a pretty white and green lighthouse on a small islet at the end of a dike.

On the Pointe, admire the château de Trévignon. Dating from the 19th century and inspired by the Gothic style, it is one of the oldest castles in Brittany and France. It is now privately owned, so you can't visit it, but it is still very pleasant to observe.

Also make a stopover at the church of Saint Philibert, listed as a historic monument in Brittany! And if you just want to enjoy the Pointe de Trévignon, treat yourself to a drink on the terrace facing the sea. You can enjoy fresh fish and admire the landscape.

Finally, relax on the white sandy beaches at Trégunc. Extend the evening and watch the magnificent sunsets...
