Erdeven is a charming commune in the Morbihan department, in the Brittany region of western France. Nestled between land and sea, this small town offers an exceptional, unspoilt natural setting, ideal for walks and outdoor activities, right next to the Ria d'Étel.

Renowned for its fine sandy beaches, which stretch for almost 8 kilometers along the Atlantic coast. Lovers of swimming, sunbathing and water sports will be delighted by the beaches of Kerhillio, Kerouriec and Kerminihy. These stretches of sand also offer magnificent scenery for long walks along the seafront at Erdeven, or along the dunes from Gâvres to Quiberon.

You won't be disappointed by the inland, where you can discover villages and megalithic sites, such as the Kerzerho alignments, along its many hiking trails...

Close to Véloroute n°5, hop on your bike and take the voie verte to Quiberon or Étel!

24H IN ERDEVEN

  • At the start of the day, enjoy a stroll through the town of Erdeven, then walk to the grounds of Château de Keravéon.
  • Then head for the Kerzerho alignments, a historic site comprising around 180 granite menhirs lined up in ten rows. The largest of these are known as "Les géants de Kerzerho".
  • Head back towards the town center and stop off at Erdeven's crêperie "Les Ganivelles". You'll be able to recharge your batteries with delicious Breton crêpes! 
  • Just a few yards away, in Place Saint-Märgen, you'll find the starting point for a hike to Kerhillio beach, where you can admire a breathtaking view of the Quiberon peninsula and Belle-Île-en-Mer. 
  • Fancy an afternoon of idleness? Relax on one of Erdeven's pretty beaches while admiring the dunes of the Grand Site de France Dunes Sauvages de Gâvres à Quiberon.
  • At the end of the day, treat yourself to an "O'local" snack, a boutique café where you can enjoy a seasonal menu and find some gift ideas.
  • Then round off your day with a concert at the "Coota", a seaside bar in Erdeven, where it's all about meeting new people!
