Visit greenways are paths built on former railroad lines, away from motorized traffic. They are dedicated to the practice of modes of soft transportation, like walking, cycling, horse-riding...
Visit greenways provide access to practice for everyone, whatever your physical condition (young children, people with reduced mobility...).
Visit cycle routes are cycle routes safe, continuous and signposted medium- and long-distance routes linking regions and crossing conurbations areas in good conditions. A cycle route take a pleasant, safe and attractive route, avoiding excessive gradients and busy roads.
Greenways and cycle routes from Naéco Hostels
To discover the Brittany by bike, no fewer than 8 major cycle routes and greenways criss-cross the region from north to south and east to west. They offer nearly 2,000 kilometers of marked trails for all nature-lovers. The pleasure of discovery in complete freedom!
Naéco Le Pouldu, Naéco Audierne and Naéco Erdeven are located next to the lane 5 Bretagne, also known as V45 «La Littorale». A ready-made travel itinerary by bike an establishment Naéco to another!
The route alternates between secure lanes and shared lanes, with most of the sections on small roads.
The V5 offers you a walk along the Breton coastline, along the famous GR34, With a superb view of the Breton coastline, you'll be close to nature. From Audierne to Guigel-Plages, then from Gâvres to Quiberon, you can pedal your way through South Finistère and South Morbihan.
Please note: the section between Guidel-Plages and Gâvres does not include a cycle route, but small greenways or cycle paths, as well as sections of shared road.
Our solution: We advise you to cycle to Lorient on the Ploemeur greenway from Le Courégant, then take a waterbus to Port-Louis. You can then cycle through Port-Louis before boarding a new boat-bus to Gâvres, to continue on to the next section of the cycle route.
Even if you're no longer on a cycle route, the scenery and maritime atmosphere are worth the detour, we guarantee it!
If you are going to use these routes, we recommend that you are equipped with a road bike, a mountain bike (VTC) or a mountain biking, to make sure you're as comfortable as possible.
