Visit Swim Run is a discipline from Sweden that combines running and swimming in a natural environment, without transition. This nature race in Brittany allows participants to alternate between trail and swim, wearing their equipment from start to finish.
The event, which takes place in Brittany, features a wilderness course where athletes cross a variety of terrain, from coastal paths to stretches of water, all in an unspoilt natural setting.
This format, with no transition between the two disciplines, makes the competition particularly demanding, as athletes have to complete one event after another without a break. In addition to running, swimming takes place in the great outdoors, often at sea or in lakes. Participants wear appropriate footwear and wetsuits to cope with the different environments along the course.
SwimRun is a challenge that tests athletes' endurance, strategy and ability to adapt to changing terrain and water conditions. It's a unique sporting adventure, ideal for those looking to push their limits in an exceptional setting.

Traditionally, the SwimRun Clohars-Carnoët is practiced in pairs, promoting strategy and cohesion between teammates. However, some formats allow individual participation, offering a unique experience for athletes of all levels.

Two routes for all levels
For this first edition of SwimRun Clohars-Carnoëttwo formats are propo3sed:
- SwimRun S 8.6 km run and 1.8 km swim.
- SwimRun M 12.6 km run and 4.7 km swim.
Course of the day
- Arrival point: Base nautique du Pouldu where race numbers can be collected from 7 a.m.
- Opening hours :
- - 7:30am: Mandatory briefing.
- - 8:30 am: Start of the M format.
- - 8:45 am: Start of the S format.
- Number withdrawal :
- - May 16, 6-9pm.
- - May 17 from 6am.
- Shuttles : Transport between the finish area and the start, which will be at the lighthouse in the port of Doëlan.
A multi-event challenge
