There are many<strong>&nbsp;simple gestures&nbsp;<\/strong>that we can integrate into our daily lives to&nbsp;<strong>reduce our ecological impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Simple everyday gestures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First of all, here are the&nbsp;<strong>eco gestures to protect the planet,&nbsp;<\/strong>suitable for everyone, for which you don't need a certain budget or to live close to all amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">- Sort your waste<br>- Put a stop sign on your mailbox<br>- Drink tap water<br>- Don't flush anything down the toilet<br>- Don't waste food<br>- Buying second-hand<br>- Use eco-friendly search engines<br>- Using rainwater to water plants<br>- Composting<br>-&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naeco.bzh\/fr\/blog-naeco-hotels-finistere-sud\/i\/blog\/les-4-r.html\">Recycle, reuse, reduce<\/a><br>- Limiting car journeys<br>- Use zero-waste products (reusable cotton pads, reusable paper towels, dishwashing brushes, water bottles, reusable sponges, solid products, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eco gestures at home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many eco-friendly gestures we can adopt at home to<strong>&nbsp;reduce our environmental impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reduce your energy consumption\u00a0<\/strong>These include using electronic devices more efficiently, using LED light bulbs, adjusting the thermostat according to the season, and using solar panels or renewable energy to generate electricity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reduce water consumption<\/strong>\u00a0These include taking shorter showers, not letting the water run unnecessarily, using stopcocks, installing dual-flush toilets and using rainwater harvesters to water the garden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reduce your plastic consumption<\/strong>\u00a0We're also looking to reduce our environmental footprint: by using reusable shopping bags, buying products in bulk to avoid unnecessary packaging, using reusable water bottles to carry water or drinks, and using eco-friendly cleaning products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Favour local and seasonal products<\/strong>\u00a0We can help you to do this by: buying fruit and vegetables in season, choosing local produce to reduce the carbon impact of transport, and cooking recipes based on fresh, seasonal produce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Promoting eco-responsible products<\/strong>\u00a0We're working to reduce our environmental footprint by: buying products made from eco-friendly and eco-compatible materials, avoiding products containing chemicals that are harmful to the environment, and favoring sustainable products to reduce waste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reduce your consumption of animal products<\/strong>\u00a0By eating less meat and dairy products, and favoring organic produce to reduce the use of pesticides and chemicals in food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ecological gestures in the office<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Na\u00e9co, our hostels have the Green Key label and we do our best to limit our environmental impact with a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naeco.bzh\/fr\/blog-naeco-hotels-finistere-sud\/i\/blog\/la-rse-chez-naeco-hostels.html\">CSR approach<\/a>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naeco.bzh\/fr\/blog-naeco-hotels-finistere-sud\/i\/blog\/decouvrez-nos-engagements-et-notre-charte-naeco-responsables.html\">environmental charter<\/a>. It is possible to adopt many&nbsp;<strong>ecogestures in the office<\/strong>&nbsp;to reduce our environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some gestures remain the same as at home:&nbsp;<strong>save water and energy<\/strong>&nbsp;(turning off water so that it doesn't run unnecessarily, switching off computers and electronic equipment when not in use, scanning instead of printing...),&nbsp;<strong>use eco-responsible products&nbsp;<\/strong>(household products, etc.). But there are others...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taking your eco-responsible approach a step further<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reducing paper consumption<\/strong>\u00a0This includes: printing only when necessary, using reusable notebooks and pens, using electronic signatures for documents, using electronic communications to reduce travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Encouraging environmentally-friendly travel<\/strong>\u00a0We're always on the lookout for new ways to reduce our environmental footprint: using public transport, using bicycles or electric scooters for business trips, organizing online meetings to avoid unnecessary travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Raising awareness among colleagues and employers<\/strong>\u00a0by sharing information on the environmental benefits of eco-friendly actions, by proposing ideas for improving eco-friendly practices within the company, and by encouraging others to adopt these eco-friendly actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By adopting these&nbsp;<strong>green actions&nbsp;<\/strong>on a daily basis, we can contribute to&nbsp;<strong>preserving our environment<\/strong>&nbsp;while improving our quality of life and contributing to a more sustainable company.&nbsp;<strong>responsible and sustainable<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These changes can become habits and a&nbsp;<strong>sustainable living&nbsp;<\/strong>for us and for future generations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, there are lots of little&nbsp;<strong>simple gestures to preserve the planet<\/strong>&nbsp;into our daily lives.
